Great town, great accomodation,great hosts, great food-a perfect holiday
My wife and I stayed at Driftwood for four nights in the last week of August 2026 and had a wonderful time. Keith and Zoe were perfect hosts with great local knowledge of the area - the Berry Head walk was just to our capability, and Cocklington Village was a charmingvillage we would not have discovered withoutKeith and Zoe’s recommendation.Brixham itself is a picturesque town, and what with the weather we had, we could easilyhave been in the Mediterranean, such were the views over the harbour from our room. There are ample hostelries and places to eat in Brixham -Beamers was our choice for our Wedding Anniversay -an excellent meal.Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfywith feather pillows – slept like a log each night. En-suite bathroom was finished to a very high standard anda separate bateau bath.Breakfast was excellent everyday, cooked to order with great choices -nothing really needed for the rest of the day.Though we did over indulge at some of the nice cafes !Would go back tomorrow if my boss would give me the time off.

The best accommodation in Brixham
Just returned from the most wonderful stay with Zoe and Keith (again). Fantastic rooms which are always spotless. Great views of the harbour. The breakfasts are to die for (you probably would if you ate everything on offer). The perfect hosts. We will return again for what maybe their last season next year. The accommodation is so perfect that we don't think we will look for any other after they retire.

Great Stay
Great stay at this lovely B&B overlooking Brixham harbour. Beautifully furnished and decorated to extremely high standards. Lovely knowledgeable hosts who made us most welcome. Thank you so much. We will certainly be back.

Prices:
Prices are based on 2 people sharing per room, per night, including breakfast. We reserve the right to alter our pricing as and when necessary: However, the price pertaining at the time of your booking is what you will be charged.

Single Person Discount:
Discount of £10 per room per night. This should be actioned automatically so long as the booking has been made specifically for "single occupancy".

Minimum Stay:
Minimum of 2 nights stay throughout the year.
Minimum 3 nights stay may be required over Bank Holiday weekends and/or during some key Festivals and Events.

Payment Methods:
Our preferred methods are debit card or cash. Most major credit cards are also accepted.

Travel Insurance:
It is advisable to have UK travel insurance to cover you whilst you are away in case of damages, or, in should you incur cancellation charges.

Deposit (payable at booking):
1-4 days stay = the first night of the stay in full (per booked room). 5 nights and over = 25% of the total stay charged (per booked room). The deposit is non-refundable unless the room(s) is/are re-let.

Balance Payment:
For all direct bookings, the total outstanding booking balance is payable 7 days prior to the arrival date. Payment will be taken automatically via the guests payment card details provided (unless alternative payment method pre-agreed with us).

Cancellation:
Only Deposit retained up to 31 days before commencement of the stay. 30 days or less, we reserve the right to charge the room(s) in full unless the room(s) can be re-let. Full balance payment will be taken; however, we will do our best to re-let the room(s), but, please note that re-letting is not guaranteed, and if not re-let, full balance will be retained.

Cancellation policy for Booking.com and Expedia/Hotels.com bookings are communicated via their booking sites and/or booking confirmation.

Postponements:
Often a better option for guests than cancellation! We are usually able to move your booking to dates later in the same calendar year (subject to availability and any price changes).

Check-in: from 4.00pm to 6.30pm unless by prior arrangement. Please phone us if you arrive earlier as it may be possible for you to park up prior to checking-in later. Please also phone us at least one hour prior to your arrival to ensure we are at the property and available to check you in.

Check-out:
Up to 10.30am

Car Parking:
Whilst we do have garages, they were built in the 1970's! Unfortunately, as vehicles are much bigger nowadays, very few of our guest's vehicles are small enough to access them safely.
Local parking is therefore predominantly roadside (free), or, via two central car parks (P&D). There are a few roadside parking across the road from the garages - subject to availability. Should no spaces be available on Prospect Road, the next road above us (South Furzeham Road), is a much longer road of free roadside parking - from here it's just a 2-3 minute walk downhill to the B&B. Alternatively, if you prefer, or, very unusually you can't find roadside parking, there are two local P&D car parks nearby. The short-stay town centre car park is located just below us (2-3 minutes walk), and the Long/Short-stay car park is behind us in Oxon Cove (8-10 minutes walk). Please note that we do not accept responsibility for any damage, howsoever caused, to guests vehicles whilst parked, parking or manoeuvring.

Unfortunately, Driftwood B&B is unsuitable for pets, is unsuitable for infants/children under 18yrs, and due to our elevated position/ steep steps within the harbour bowl, Driftwood B&B is unsuitable for those who are physically impaired (please phone for more info)
